Annie Ballantine is a graduate of Phillips Academy, Andover and of Amherst College. She has more than 35 years of experience in leadership, marketing, sales, and finance. Ballantine has held top leadership roles in several industries, including retail and health insurance. In addition to her role at PAW Development, she serves as managing partner of BDR Avanti Finance, and runs Artful Paws Photography—a fine art pet portrait studio in Fairfax, Virginia. Ballantine is an avid golfer, and is active in animal welfare—volunteering her time to numerous municipal animal shelters and nonprofit rescues.
Scot E. Evans (M.S. Geology) has spent more than 30 years working in the Appalachian & Permian basins, evaluating and developing stripper well and mid-level production plays , including oversight of development and / or well planning of several hundred wells; including well log interpretation , X-section construction , isopach generation, and interpretation of fault/fracture & lineament features. Owned and operated an Ohio water injection well and am currently instrumental in permitting, developing, and operating Pennsylvania water injection wells.
Marcellus and Utica shale well pad and lateral planning to stay in zone and orientation to intercept natural fracture systems. Assisted geophysicist in seismic, well log, and engineering data interpretation.
Additionally, Evans has led teams, and was a team member of geoscientists in exploration efforts for various client O&G drilling projects. He is experienced in working with engineers, attorneys, public officials, and both technical and non-technical personnel to integrate geoscience and engineering data to solve practical and complex problems.
Furthermore, Evans has worked directly with clients in communicating preliminary pricing and development options--requiring keen technical knowledge, strong communication skills and diligent follow-through--including mapping subsurface data,evaluating zoning laws,identifying potential hazards,and evaluating infrastructure networks.
Timothy Murin is the Chief Executive Officer of Griffin Oilfield Developers, LLC. He has more than 45 years of experience in the oil and gas business, including eight years working on research and development projects for the Department of Energy related to oil and gas environmental issues.
Murin has worked on projects covering both conventional and unconventional reservoirs in different geographic areas of the United
States (PA, TX, AL, OK, LA, IL), and on one international venture (Romania).
Murin’s expertise in the industry ranges from prospect generation to
establishing production operations. Having served as the President of a public
exploration and production company, his primary responsibilities included
managing exploration and production ventures, acquisitions and divestitures and project management.
Mr. Murin also served as the President of the Division of Environmental Geosciences for the American Association of Petroleum Geologists. Murin is currently involved with projects that involve drilling disposal wells in depleted gas fields in western Pennsylvania.
